All students must complete the University's General Education
Requirements to qualify for the Bachelor's Degree. Additionally:
- Computer Science majors must complete 120 credits to complete the B.S. degree.
- Computer Science majors must meet prerequisites or their equivalents prior to enrolling in more
advanced Computer Science courses.
- Computer science majors must earn at least a grade of "C" in all Science,
Mathematics and Computer Science courses. In addition, majors with specialty in
Computer Engineering must recieve a "C" grade or better in all Engineering
courses and majors with a specialty in Information Systems must recieve a "C"
grade or better in all courses taken in the School of Business.;
- Computer Science majors are not permitted to enroll in any course whose content is prerequisite,
or assumed knowledge, or a higher level course than a student has already completed.
- Each Computer Science major must pass a
*Comprehensive Examination (pdf)
covering the content of the core
courses through CSC 372.

*The comprehensive exam is an overall review of materials learned up to and through CSC 372. All Computer Science Majors are required to pass this exam before graduating.
