ELECTRONIC CLASSROOMS (RTC- 200, 202, & 210)
All Electronic Classrooms provide instructional support for Computer Science, Engineering and Technology
Graduate and Undergraduate courses.
Each classroom contains a mounted multimedia (data/video) projection system, white board and networked printer
and is outfitted with a teacher's workspace
equipped for laptop connection. Each eClassroom supports between 32 and 34 students with pentium based pc's containing
usb ports and cd bays (some have additional dvd bays) that contains the general software profile and has
accessibility to the Internet.
NETWORK LABORATORY (RTC-213)
This badge-accessed secured laboratory provides state-of-the-art
data communications and network equipment to support
interactive instruction, research of network and technical advances and hands-on training.
*This lab contains:
- 6 2900 Series Switches
- A 6500 Switch w/layer 3 support, in-line power, and intrusion detection system
- 2 4500 Switches/layer 3 support
- 6 2500 Series Routers
- Network testers & tools
- 14 E4500S student workstations
- 24 Training-purposed workstations
- mounted multimedia projection system and white board
This lab area contains mounted projections system, white board and an instructor's workspace. In addition, this
space was physically designed with raised floors to facilitate the simulation of network construction.
